Congratulations go to Greenville High School Senior Miss Amari Dorsey who scored a 30 on her ACT. Dorsey is a top senior at GHS and she is a member of the SGA, GHS Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and other organizations and activities. She is the daughter of longtime educator Lisa Foules, who is a fourth grade teacher at Armstrong Elementary School.
Amari has offers from several top colleges and universities in the nation including Harvard. She plans to enter the medical field after furthering her education.
Amari is the first member of the GHS 30+plus Club, and she attributes her success to hard work, taking extra ACT practice exams, preparation courses, great teachers, and extended support from her family, friends, and the community.
Moreover, GPSD Superintendent Debra Williams Dace said Amari is a standout student both inside and outside of the classroom. Dace said, as a district, we must encourage our students day in and day out to always do their very best.
Dace added, Amari is an exemplary young lady and should be applauded for her academic achievements. #TeamGPSD #JoinIn #ItsAGreatDayToBeAHornet?
