The Transportation Department of Greenville Public Schools is committed to providing SAFE and EFFICIENT transportation service eligible riders.
We operate a "three tier" pick up system. Grade 1 thru 5 ( 7:00 am -7:20 am); 6 thru 8 6:30 am -6:50 am; 9 thru 12 7:25 am - 7:45 am.
We cover approximately 1000 miles on a daily basis and make nearly 700 bus stops.
The department consists of: 25 full time and 10-12 part-time professional drivers, Director Debbra Redmond-Williams, Secretary Carolyn Grayson
All drivers must have:
A commercial drivers license with PS endorsement
Pre-employment drug test
Criminal background check
Child abuse registry check
Driver license record check (MVR)
Mandatory Mississippi Department of Education training
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
We pride ourselves on our well maintained fleet that is inspected annually by the Mississippi Department of Education.

All eligible riders are allowed (1) address for pick-up and drop-off.
Appropriate behavior on buses is expected by all passengers. Any behavior that distracts the driver is unacceptable:
Hitting, touching, swearing, possession of any tobacco substance, alcohol, bullying of any type, etc.
School bus transportation service is a privilege that will be taken away if any unacceptable behavior occurs.
