GPSD Superintendent Dr. Janice Page-Johnson speaks on Delta News

GREENVILLE -- As she shared the new school hours, bus routes, and the announcing of an upcoming Town Hall meeting, Greenville Public School District Superintendent Dr. Janice Page-Johnson has active and visual in the community since being appointed the district's new leader on July 1, 2017.


Recently Dr. Page-Johnson and Dr. Tracy Henshaw-Jackson, GPSD Accountability & Secondary Curriculum Director, visited The Delta News Morning Show to discuss changes in the district, along with the start of school on Aug. 7. The superintendent encouraged parents to register their children prior to the start of school, and she invited the public to an upcoming gathering in conjunction with the City of Greenville. 


Dr. Henshaw-Jackson added the realignment of Solomon Magnet School being changed to an alternative learning facility, and spoke about students enrolling in dual enrollment course for college credit.
